Chinese Ambassador Visited UMB and CIB


On Aug 28th, the Chinese Ambassador to Slovakia, H.E. SUN Lijie and his company visited Matej Bel University (MBU) and the Confucius Institute for Business (CIB) at MBU, and held talks with Mr. Rector Hiadlovsky, Mr. Vice Rector Terem, Madame Vice Rector Chovancova, and CIB Chinese Director, Mr. Jianwei WANG.

During the talk, Mr. Rector Hiadlovsky warmly welcomed H.E. Ambassador SUN Lijie. He introduced MBU's cooperation with Chinese universities and the development of CIB at MBU, laying his emphasis on the growing interest of local people to learn the Chinese language and culture. MBU is willing to further expand academic cooperation and exchanges between staff and students with China, and will continually provide strong support for CIB's Chinese language teaching and cultural activities.

H.E. Ambassador SUN Lijie said that MBU has conducted a series of fruitful exchanges and cooperation with Chinese universities, and CIB, with partnership to Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE), is running well. The Chinese embassy to Slovakia is ready to continue his support and provide assistance to MBU in her Chinese teaching and cooperation with China.
