"Chinese Bridge" Award Ceremony Held at the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia

On August 23rd, the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia organized an award ceremony for winners of the 20th Chinese Bridge Competition in 2021. After the ceremony, the winners enjoyed a cultural activity - "Experience China". Our Chinese teacher QIN Bofang, representing our Confucius Institute, CIB at MBU, was invited to attend the activities and receive the prize on behalf of our student, LI Ke’er (Vladimíra Ličková), who had won the second prize in the Competition.

Two of our students from CIB at MBU have won the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, i.e., the Confucius Institute Scholarship (See the following link for more about the Scholarship: Štipendiá Konfuciovho inštitútu | Štipendiá | Konfuciov institut UMB), since 2020. In June 2021, CIB at MBU participated in the Chinese Bridge Competition for the first time.

The Chinese Bridge Competition – Chinese Language Proficiency Competition for Foreign/Non-Chinese Students – is held annually. Its preliminary rounds are held overseas in different countries. The Final Round is held in China.
