CIB Student Won the 3rd Prize at the 21st "Chinese Bridge" in Slovakia

2022-06-06

We congratulate our student, Mr. Samuel Kuťka (顾克侠), for being awarded the third prize in the final round of the 21st Chinese Bridge Competition for foreign university students in Slovakia, which was held on May 31, 2022.

Samuel entitled his speech to be "Humankind is the finger of the Earth". From a philosophical point of view, he explains that human beings should help each other and calls upon all countries to get united and support each other so as to make progress together and deal with common challenges together. Samuel’s speech is simple yet profound, and he has delivered his speech in a quite satisfying way. We can expect he’ll certainly do better in the future.

Samuel performed a Chinese pop song "Blue and White Porcelain" with his harp. The western musical instrument combines with the Chinese music, ringing in the ears of the listeners another feeling of the Chinese music. Samuel got the highest score and all applause from the judges in the part of talent show.

At the same time, we also congratulate the other winners of the Competition, and would like to give our thanks to the Organizing Committee of the 21st Chinese Bridge Competition in Slovakia.
