UMB Rector and his company visited DUFE

On May 16-18, Mr. Rector Vladimír Hiadlovský and Madam Vice-Rector Miroslava Knapková visited Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) and participated in the 2024 Board Meeting of the Confucius Institute for Business (CIB) at MBU. Fang Hongxing, President of DUFE, met with Mr. Rector Hiadlovský and and Madam Vice-Rector Knapková.

Mr. President Fang warmly welcomed Mr. Rector Hiadlovský and and Madam Vice-Rector Knapková, and thanked MBU for the continuous support to CIB at UMB. He said that DUFE and MBU has become good friends and good partners in the course of the long-term exchanges and cooperation; DUFE has always attached great importance to the partnership with MBU, and looks forward to further future cooperation with MBU.

Mr. Rector Hiadlovský thanked DUFE for the strong support to CIB at UMB. He said that our two universities have a close bond and a pleasant cooperation, and have built a deep friendship with the Confucius Institute as a platform. The Chinese courses and the cultural events of CIB at UMB have been attracting more and more students and the general public. In the future, MBU expects cooperation with DUFE for more concrete and fruitful results.

During the visit, Mr. Rector Hiadlovský and and Madam Vice-Rector Knapková visited School of International Business and the new lab center of DUFE. They also came upon DUFE's annual Campus Carnival. They spoke highly of DUFE's beautiful campus and good operating conditions.

Mr. Vice-President of DUFE Wang Xuhui, Madam Dean Deng Lili of School of International Education and Wang Jianwei, the Chinese Director of CIB at UMB, participated in the board meeting and other activities.
