DUFE Scholarship

Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) enrolls international students of Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS/CSC), Confucius Institute Scholarship (CI) and Liaoning Provincial Government Scholarship (LN). DUFE also provides partial scholarship to freshmen, alumni and outstanding students.

1. DUFE Scholarship in Chinese Government Scholarship

China Scholarship Council (CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education of China (MOE), is responsible for the enrollment and administration of Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) programs.

DUFE is one of the 289 CSC/CGS-designated Chinese universities that offer a wide variety of academic programs in economics, management science, law, arts and natural sciences for scholarship recipients at all levels. Altogether, DUFE offers 36 bachelor-level programs, 52 master-level programs, 55 doctoral-level programs, and 2 non-degree programs.

2. DUFE Confucius Institute Scholarship

Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) is one of the host institutes of the Confucius Institute Scholarship. DUFE is qualified to accept applicants who apply for a four-week scholarship, one-semester scholarship, one-academic-year scholarship, and MTCSOL Scholarship (Scholarshipfor Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages).

3. CSC-DUFE Scholarship for Outstanding International Students

This scholarship is offered to non-first-year bachelor-level and master-level students. Outstanding bachelor students can be granted 18,000 RMB as rewards, and outstanding master students can be granted 30,000 RMB as rewards.

4. DUFE Scholarship for Outstanding Students

This scholarship is offered to all DUFE students at all levels. Outstanding students can be granted 3,000- 6,000 RMB as rewards.

5. Foundation Program (Chinese Medium)

After one year Chinese foundation course with HSK 4 (220), 5000RMB will be offered to bachelor's program students. Students will also get 5000RMB tuition fee waiver per year from the second year to the fifth year after the qualified foundation program.

6. Alumni Scholarship

For DUFE students including degree and non-degree students, DUFE offers 10% tuition waiver as an alumni scholarship for those who apply for our degree program for the further study.

7. DUFE Freshmen Scholarship

  • Scholarship Coverage
    In order to attract more outstanding oversea students, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics has established a new scholarship for freshmen. This scholarship is for students who, with excellent language skills and outstanding academic performance, pursue undergraduate degree program, master degree program, or doctoral degree program. The scholarship covers part or full tuition waiver.
  • Programs
    All undergraduate degree program, master degree program and doctoral degree program students eligible to apply.
  • Eligibility
    Applicants must be the citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, be in good health, and under the age of 35 when applying.

    (2) Notarized highest diploma (photocopy); Prospective diploma winners must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date;

    (4) A Study Plan or Research Proposal (Only for master degree program and doctoral degree program applicants);
    (5) Two recommendation letters signed by professor or associate professor (Only for master degree program and doctoral degree program applicants).
